History
of the Family Camp
Over
50 years ago First Presbyterian Church of Wichita built a Family Church Camp on
the riverbanks west of Wichita to provide a family 
oriented environment
for relaxation and inspirational retreat.
It has been a central part of the memories of growing up to many of
our church family members and their children.
With the closure of other area camp facilities, the First Presbyterian
Church Family Camp can once again become a valuable regional resource. Today it not only serves First Presbyterian
Church members, but also a considerable number of non-profit organization,
church groups, and other business groups.
It affords a place of quiet renewal, with tree-lined paths, swimming,
sports, picnic areas, and camping facilities in an inspirational setting.
