Thank you for taking time to
explore the FIRST PRESBYTERIAN WICHITA FOUNDATION, INC. The Foundation exists
for the sole purpose of creating a perpetual endowment for the benefit of First
Presbyterian Church in Wichita, Kansas. A portion of the growth, interest, and
dividend earnings received each year is given to the Church in the form of a
non-designated gift. It is the desire of the Foundation to see assets grow,
thereby creating more opportunity for increasing dividends and interest income
permitting a growing income stream to First Presbyterian Church.
Vision and dreams have grown the
Foundation from its humble beginnings of $1,000 in 1965 to more than $1
million in 1995, almost $2 million in 1998, and over $3.8 million at the end of
2006. The trustees of the Foundation hope this information will help you better
understand what the Foundation has done, what it is currently doing, and what
our hopes, dreams and prayers are for the future.
