Over 50 years ago First Presbyterian Church of Wichita built a Family Church Camp on the riverbanks west of Wichita to provide a family oriented environment for relaxation and inspirational retreat. It has been a central part of the memories of “growing up” to many of our church family members and their children. With the closure of other camp facilities, the First Presbyterian Family Camp can once again become a valuable regional resource. Today it not only serves First Presbyterian Church members, but also a considerable number of non-profit organizations, church groups, and other business groups. It affords a place of quiet renewal, with tree-lined paths, swimming, sports, picnic area and camping facilities in an inspirational setting.
