Text Box: “Hymn of the People” Invites Hymn Requests

As you know, on the third Sunday of each month, a deacon offers the “Prayers of the People.” The Worship Committee would like one of the hymns that Sunday to be a “Hymn of the People.” This would be a hymn requested by a member of the congregation that perhaps we don't sing as often as you’d like, or simply one you find meaningful. If you would like to submit a hymn or hymns for the “Hymn of the People,” please email Cathy Northrup or place a note in her box.

Since 1949, Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through One Great Hour of Sharing to share God’s love with people experiencing need. Our gifts support ministries of disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development that help people find safe refuge, start new lives and work together to strengthen their families and communities. Recognizing that the hope we have in Christ is lived out in our hope for one another, we respond with gifts that help our sisters and brothers around the world find hope for a brighter future. This offering will be received on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010.

One Great Hour of Sharing Offering

Kell First Friday will meet on March 5 (7 p.m.) at the home of Bruce and Patty Cole, 11412 West 1st Court North. Please bring a snack to share and soft drinks will be provided. Join us for good food and good conversation!
