At First Presbyterian Church of Wichita, Kansas we are committed to providing spiritual growth opportunities for all ages. From infants to senior adults, we make Christian growth and discipleship a high priority. We believe that the study of God’s word is not optional—but is essential. We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word, the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. The Bible is relevant to the common needs of all people of all times and to the specific challenges of contemporary living. We are committed to equipping Christians, through Christian education, to follow Christ in every aspect of life. Our Christian Education programs have a place for everyone.

The nursery is a place for our youngest members to begin their journey into Christian Education in a fun and loving atmosphere, while their parents continue for faith journey.

Children

“The Story” Sunday school and “The Wednesday Word” programs are the cornerstone of Christian Education for our children. Staffed by FPC volunteers, “The Story” Sunday school and “The Wednesday Word” programs are dedicated to teaching children God’s Word in an exciting variety of ways. Youth—(6^th Grade—High School Senior)

Regular Sunday and Wednesday night study and fellowship programs combined with mission work and overnight retreats offer middle and high school students the chance for Christian growth while providing them a solid support network. Adults

First Presbyterian Church of Wichita, Kansas offers a wide variety of classes for adults of all ages every Sunday morning. Classes range in size and study books of the Bible, Christian living, church history, theology and creeds and more. There are classes for young adults, older adults, and those in-between.
